Potter League For Animals Launches Pet Photo Calendar Contest

NEWPORT, RI — Calling all pet owners! The Potter League for Animals wants to see your very best, funniest or cutest photos of your family friend for its fourth-annual calendar photo contest.

The "P.S. I Love You" Pet Photo Contest raises money to fund the shelter's services such as animal sheltering and adoptions, veterinary care, education programs for children and adults, spaying a neutering and more.

Anyone is welcome to enter the contest. For just $10, pet owners can submit a picture, with the 12 winners to be included in the organization's 2021 calendar. Votes cost juts $1 each.

One grand prize winner will have their pet featured in the month of their choosing, as well as two complimentary tickets to LoveBash for Animals, March 20, at The Atlantic Resort at Wyndham Newport Hotel. The winner will also be featured on the cover of the LoveBash for Animals' program.

The first-place winner will also be included in the calendar and receive two tickets to LoveBash.

Nine other winners in second through 10th place will be included in the calendar.

All winners will receive a professional photoshoot at the Potter League or another location before July 1 and will receive a free calendar this fall.

So far, the fundraiser has raised more than $3,000 of its $15,000 goal.
