Rhode Island Gas Prices Down Another Penny

Gas prices in the ocean state are continuing to slowly decrease.

The average cost for a gallon of gas went down one cent over the last week, bringing it to $2.73 per gallon, the same as the national average. This time last year, the average price was 16 cents highers at $2.89 per gallon.

Across the state, prices range 40 cents from a low of $2.59 to a high of $2.99. Here's a look at the average cost and range per grade.

Regular Unleaded: $2.73 ($2.59-$2.99)

Premium Unleaded: $3.20 ($3.09-$3.39)
