Rhode Island Hotel Week Returns April 17-30

NEWPORT, RI — For the second year in a row, some of Rhode Island's most popular hotels are offering special discounts, for one week only. Hotel Week 2021 will run from April 17 to 30, with per-night rates ranging from $100 to $400.

"Whether you want to check into an old favorite or somewhere you've always wanted to stay, these exclusive offers make it worth the trip," Visit Rhode Island said on the event page.

Most of the hotels included in the promotion usually run $500 per night or higher. These include historic and upscale businesses in Rhode Island tourist hotspots, including Newport, Block Island, Providence and South County, as well as convenient locations near the airport in Warwick.

Rhode Island's first Hotel Week was held Jan. 18 to 31, 2020, offering special rates to Rhode Islanders and visitors during a traditionally quiet time for travel. With long-distance travel still mostly off the table due to the coronavirus pandemic, this year's event is being pitched as a way to enjoy a "staycation" while staying safe.
