Rhode Island was ranked 45 out of 50 when it comes to getting behind the wheel.
Rhode Island is once again one of the worst states to drive in, according to the latest report from WalletHub. For the third year in a row, the Ocean State ranked in the bottom five.
To determine the ranking, the personal finance website compared all 50 states across 31 metrics such as average gas prices and road quality. This year, Rhode Island ranked 45th overall. This is a slight improvement from last year, when the state ranked second-to-last, behind only Hawaii. In 2019, Rhode Island again ranked at 45 out of 50.
Texas was ranked first in the country, followed by Indiana and North Carolina.
