NEWPORT, RI — It's almost summer in Rhode Island, which brings the return of many sacred traditions: Del's Lemonade trucks on every corner, packed beaches and buy one, get one free Awful Awfuls at Newport Creamery, starting June 3.
The annual promotion runs on Mondays all summer long, all day. All Awful Awfuls are buy one, get one free, in all multiples of two, so the more you buy, the more free milkshakes you get.
The company hinted at the return of the iconic promotion on Saturday.

A manager at the flagship restaurant in Newport confirmed the promotion will begin again the week after Memorial Day.
