Spring Snow: Up To 2 Inches Headed To Rhode Island This Week
The National Weather service predicted a coating across most of the state, though as much as two inches of accumulation are possible.

It may have felt like spring last week, but winter-like weather is back in the forecast. After a frigid start to the week, Rhode Island could see an inch or two of snow accumulation early Friday morning.
Rain is expected to start Thursday afternoon, then change over to snow overnight headed into Friday morning. Snow is expected to taper off by 10 a.m., with less than an inch likely across much of the state.

As much as two inches of snow could fall, however, according to the National Weather Service's high-end snowfall prediction map. There's a 10 percent chance of Rhode Island actually seeing that much snow.
