Winnie, the K9, Helped Catch the Andover Teen Hacker

ANDOVER, MA — The story about the Andover teen who allegedly sent hoax threat messages to Rhode Island College and unnamed other Rhode Island victims broke recently. The Essex County District Attorney did not divulge the complete story partly because the suspect is a juvenile. But the Rhode Island angle, it turns out, is not the only part of the story that's been under reported. Winnie, the K9, helped police pick up the scent in this case, as the Massachusetts State Police revealed in a Facebook post. Here's the scoop.
