2. Pawtucket contemplates selling Morley Field complex
A five-acre city-owned property behind the old Microfibres site on Moshassuck Street could go on the market. But city officials tell The Valley Breeze that it's complicated. Because the property was developed in 1970s as a public recreation facility with National Park Service funding, hoops must be jumped through. Developers of the Microfibres site are eyeing the land for commercial development.
3. Man, 20, stabbed several times in Pawtucket
Police tell WJAR that a young man was stabbed several times Wednesday near McCoy Stadium. It happened on South Bend Street just after 11 a.m. The man, who was not identified, was taken to the hospital.
4. Providence City Clerk Shawn Selleck has been placed on administrative leave
Selleck tells WPRI he was "shocked" to learn of the sudden change in his job status. He said he's not aware of anything he's done wrong. Target 12 learned that a human resources investigation is underway, and that it was launched at the request of City Council leaders.
5. A planned Zoning Board vote on a medical marijuana facility didn't happen
New Leaf Compassion Center wants to build a medical marijuana facility at 56 India St. The project has been rejected by the Planning Board, but the Zoning Board of Appeals has the final say.
