Curbside Clothing Pickup Continues In Pawtucket
Curbside Textile Recycling collects gently used clothing, and two cents for every pound they sell goes to local nonprofits.

PAWTUCKET - The city will continue its collaboration with Curbside Textile Recycling to collect residents’ unwanted clothing and shoes on recycling days.
Curbside Textile Recycling collects gently used clothing, and two cents for every pound of clothing sold by the company goes to support local non-profits, Mayor Donald Grebien said in a news release. The company has supported the Pawtucket Soup Kitchen, Books are Wings, and the Blackstone Valley Community Action Program.
“We are trying to ensure that residents have the opportunity to recycle their gently used items and reduce what goes into landfills,” said Grebien. “This opportunity allows for residents to recycle clothing without ever leaving home.”
