Patch Pick: Get the Ball Rolling: Classic Pinball comes to Pawtucket - Motif (motifri.com) Electromagnetic Pinball at 881 Main Street will hold a grand opening party on July 2 from 2-5 p.m. Three friends started collecting antique pinball machines around five years ago.

  1. Developers have unveiled a concept for a major mixed-use development on Front Street along the Blackstone River. River Park would be the "Premier Residential Destination in Pawtucket" and feature luxury amenities. A portion of the units would be designated as “workforce housing.” The Pawtucket Redevelopment Agency heard about the project on Wednesday. (Patch)
  2. More from WPRI on city police officer Dan Dolan, who's in the spotlight after shooting a teenager in West Greenwich. Pawtucket councilwoman Melissa DaRosa said she has received complaints about Dolan from multiple people in the community. (WPRI.com)
  3. Activists unfurled a banner on the floor of the Rhode Island House of Representatives that read “Never Again is Now.” Never Again Rhode Island is demanding that the House pass three bills – H5749, H5776, and H5750 – with the aim of shutting down the Wyatt Detention Center in Central Falls.   4. A home burned down in Cumberland Wednesday on one of the hottest days of the year. Crews from Pawtucket were among the responders. The house was a total loss. Fortunately, nobody was hurt. (WPRI)
  5. The future of the Crook Point Bridge in Providence is "up in the air" after the decrepit and iconic structure burned in a spectacular Tuesday night fire. RIDOT is sending engineers to inspect the bridge. If it's unsound, it will be torn down. Efforts had been afoot to transfer the 113-year-old "stuck" bridge to the city and repurpose it as public art.
