Pawtuck Police Identify Victim Of Deadly Japonica St. Shooting

The 19-year-old woman was from Cranston.

PAWTUCKET, RI — The Pawtucket Police Department has released the name of a 19-year-old woman found shot and critically wounded inside a parked car on May 16.

Police responded to Japonica Street at around 11:30 p.m. on that Sunday night. The woman, identified as Tatyana Francois of Cranston, was rushed to the hospital where she died.

A homicide investigation is underway.
