Here are the top stories in and around Pawtucket today:
1. A Pawtucket police officer has been charged in connection with an off-duty shooting. Attorney General Peter Neronha said Officer Daniel Dolan's use of force was not justified when on June 23 he shot a teen driver in the parking lot of a West Greenwich pizza shop. Neronha unveiled four felony charges at a news conference on Thursday. Dolan is scheduled for arraignment July 16 in Kent County Superior Court. (Patch)

2. A Pawtucket man is heading to federal prison for his part in an identity fraud case. Donald A. Wicklund, 34, was a lieutenant to Octavio Andres Difo-Castro, 30, a New York man who purchased multiple identities on the dark web, made fake drivers’ licenses, and defrauded banks, stores, and lending institutions. (Patch)
3. Two Cumberland wrestlers took home top honors at Saturday’s Rhode Island Interscholastic League Championships. Bishop Hendricken senior Nick Fine captured his third straight state title. Cumberland High senior Aidan Faria took home top honors in the 160-pound class. (The Valley Breeze)
4. Police and the FBI on Monday took down an alleged prostitution ring in Providence and North Providence, where an address on High Service Road was raided. “Police allege that over the past two months, the suspects transported numerous women to and from Providence and have them engage in sexual activity in exchange for money.” (WPRI)
5. In nearby North Attleboro, health officials are concerned about a growing rat population. Health Agent Sherri Miller-Bedau said she discovered 100 to 200 rats living at a condominium complex at 180 Park St. (WJAR)

EVENTS:
• It's a rare opportunity to view Rhode Island's original copies of the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights. The documents will be on display July 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the State Archives, 33 Broad St., Providence. They are usually stored in a climate-controlled vault.
• When in doubt, pop around town with your camera. Pawtucket's 23rd annual photo contest is up and running. This year's theme is "Uniquely Pawtucket." Twelve winning photos will be selected for inclusion in the 2022 City Calendar. The deadline for entry is Aug. 6, so get out there!
