Pawtucket Woman Acccidently Shoots Self: Police
A woman was handling her shotgun when it fell to the floor and accidentally discharged. She suffered an arm injury.
A Pawtucket woman was hospitalized on Saturday afternoon after accidentally shooting herself, police said. Det. Sgt. Christopher Lefort said a woman was handling her shotgun at a home on Nickerson Street when the firearm fell to the floor and discharged. He said the gun's trigger lock was found to be improperly installed. The woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries to her arm. No charges were filed.
