Rhode Island Banker Joseph Silva Takes Job In Massachusetts

The head of commercial lending at Pawtucket Credit Union has left for a job in Massachusetts.

Joseph Silva has joined Fidelity Bank in Leominster as senior vice president and chief commercial banking officer, the Worcester Business Journal reported on Friday.

At Fidelity Bank, Silva will replace Barry Bliss, who is retiring in August.

Silva previously worked at Bank Rhode Island. He holds a bachelor’s degree in interpersonal communications from the University of Rhode Island, and graduated from the bank leadership program at the Darden School at the University of Virginia.
