Ten Pawtucket Firefighters Promoted To Rescue Lieutenant

Two firefighters promoted via Zoom during the pandemic were also honored at an outdoor ceremony,

PAWTUCKET, RI — Ten Pawtucket firefighters who achieved the rank of rescue lieutenant were sworn in Wednesday at the Veterans Amphitheatre outside City Hall.

Promoted and honored were EMS Director Lance J. Dumont, Corey-Patric McKenna, Kyle P. Hilbert, Joshua L. Giglietti, Jack R. Donahue, Tiffany G. Pacheco, Nathan R. Duffy, William J. Alfred, Terrance J. O’Neill, and David T. Taylor.

Also honored were two firefighters promoted via Zoom during the pandemic. Eric S. Gonsalves and Kevin P. Keenan were promoted from firefighter to the rank of lieutenant.

Mayor Donald Grebien, Acting Public Safety Director and Police Chief Tina Goncalves, and Fire Chief William Sisson delivered remarks, and expressed pride and gratitude.
