Woonsocket Man Wanted By Pawtucket Police Arrested In Johnston

A Woonsocket man wanted by Pawtucket police was arrested Tuesday in Johnston by Rhode Island State Police.

Kiefer Demello, 30, was the subject of an affidavit and arrest warrant out of Pawtucket and charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle. The original offense was dated May 15. Demello was arrested June 30 following a traffic stop on Rt. 6 in Johnston, state police said in a news release.

State police processed Demello and turned him over to Pawtucket. Demello has a lengthy record of arrests and court appearances, Rhode Island judicial records show. He was due to be arraigned this morning in 6th Division District Court.
