Cable Car Cinema to Screen "The Interview" on Friday
After deciding to cancel the debut of the movie last week, Sony Pictures Entertainment has decided to offer a limited release of the film.

The Cable Car Cinema and Cafe in Providence will show the film “The Interview” on Friday after Sony Pictures Entertainment decided to release the controversial film to a limited number of theaters.
The controversial film directed by Seth Rogan satirizes North Korea’s despot, Kim Jong-un. Hackers allegedly recruited and sponsored by the North Korean government broke into Sony Picture Entertainment’s computer system and stole data, including copies of unreleased movies, internal documents and e-mails to use as blackmail in an effort to block the movie’s release.
Along with threats to major movie theater chains who were planning on screening the film, Sony apparently buckled last week and cancelled the film’s release.
