Construction on Tiverton Schools Scheduled to Begin

TIVERTON, RI — The Tiverton School Department has announced the construction schedule that will take place the beginning of September to run through October 15th, 2018. The Tiverton School Committee convened & formally voted to start the process and will use Alhborg Construction Corporation as the general contractor. The renovations of the high school and middle school will be completed in full by October 15th, 2018. New roofing, furnace and duct work for both the Tiverton Middle School and the Tiverton High School are included in the project. This project is funded by the bond passed by the residents of Tiverton back in November of 2016.
For safety and security reasons the principals of both schools will be meeting with the construction team and project manager every two weeks throughout the project.
