Crowd Gathers Sunday To Watch Old Sakonnet Bridge Demolition
The Department of Transportation was out Sunday working to remove the old Sakonnet Bridge's center section.
TIVERTON, RI—The Department of Transportation workers were out Sunday with crews working to remove the old Sakonnet Bridge's center section. A crowd watched from the Tiverton side. According to the spectators, the bridge section was coming down either Sunday night or Monday morning.
