Francisco M. Silva

LITTLE COMPTON, RI—Francisco M. Silva, 82 of East Main Road, died Tuesday, Dec. 6 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, Mass. He was the husband of Frances E. (LeBlanc) Silva. They were married for 64 years.

Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Manuel and Maria (Perreira) Silva. He was an engineer for Raytheon for 34 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus of Tiverton and a volunteer for the Little Compton Fire Dept.

Besides his wife, he leaves five daughters: Cindy Silva of Bristol, Deborah Iamarone and Denise Castro both of Fall River, Elaine Silva of Bristol and Karen Prezalar of Fall River. He was the brother of Alice Santos of Tiverton and the late Manuel, Lewis, John, Joseph and Antone Silva, Irene Gergora and Sylvania. He leaves six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral was held Saturday, Dec. 10 from the Fern Acres Funeral Home, 72 Willow Avenue, Little Compton, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Catherine of Siena Church, on the Commons. Burial was in Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery. See more at: http://www.legacy.com/obituari...
