Little Compton Man Charged With Child Molestation: SK Police
The child's mother on Oct. 15 reported suspicions about a man she'd been dating, and South Kingstown police pressed charges.
SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI—A Little Compton man was accused of molesting a 12-year-old girl after the child's mother, a woman he dated for four years, reported her suspicions to South Kingstown police. Myles Stevenson, 39, was questioned Oct. 17 and ultimately charged with one count of first-degree child molestation, police said. He is being held without bail at the state prison. Other charges could be coming. Police believe Stevenson started molesting the girl when she was 8.
