Local Pastor to Celebrate Silver Jubilee
Fr. Jay Finelli, Pastor of Holy Ghost Church in Tiverton will celebrate his 25th anniversary in June, and the parish is celebrating.
On June 11th, Father Finelli will celebrate a Solemn Mass of Thanksgiving for his 25th Anniversary of Ordination to the Priesthood at Holy Ghost Church on 316 Judson Street at 1:00 pm. All are invited.
Following Mass, the parish will host a dinner celebration at McGovern's Family Restaurant on Shove St. in Tiverton at 3:00 pm (ticket required). The meal will include Cheese Crackers & Fresh Fruit, Champagne Toast, Chicken Escarole Soup with Orzo, Garden Salad with Champagne Vinaigrette, Chicken Marsala, Yukon Gold Potato, Green Beans with Juliann Carrots, Safron rice & Brunkel, and Cherries Jubilee.
Tickets are $30.00 a person, and are available at Holy Ghost parish office Mon. - Thur., 8:00 am - 2:00 pm or by calling Fatima at 401-624-8131. (Tickets will not be available at the door)
