Pup Trapped in Storm Reunites With Owner
Tiverton Police rescued the dog from the storm on Tuesday.
UPDATED: The dog owner commented on Patch’s Facebook page and said her children rescued the dog and the Tiverton Police Department gave the dog a ride to the vet the next morning.
The dog will be headed home today, WJAR NBC10 reports.

One dog just couldn’t wait to play outside in the snow.
The dog was reportedly found trapped outside in Tiverton’s snowstorm on Tuesday.

Tiverton Police were able to safely rescue the dog from the poor weather conditions, according to a post on the Tiverton Police Department Facebook page.
The dog was reportedly taken to Sakonnet Veterinary Hospital.
Police said they were able to reunite the dog with his owner. The owner wrote on the Facebook post that her dog may have escaped due to a door not being latched properly.
