Rhode Island ranks as the 12th most addicted to gambling state in the country, says Wallet Hub, the personal finance experts.
TIVERTON, RI — Rhode Islanders buy more lottery tickets per capital than their counterparts in any other U.S. state, according to Wallet Hub, the personal finance website. When it comes to gambling problems and treatment, the Ocean State ranks 22nd for highest percentage of adults. Overall, Rhode Island is the 12th most addicted to gambling state in the U.S.
