Medflight Helicopter Called After Box Truck Rollover In Tiverton
The crash happened at Mulberry and Bulgarmarsh on Wednesday.
TIVERTON, RI--Police reported a "major motor vehicle accident" on Bulgarmarsh Road on Wednesday. The road was closed for about two hours after a box truck collided with another vehicle near Bulgarmarsh and Mulberry and rolled over. A medical helicopter was called to take one of the victims to the hospital. The rescue workers used the Tiverton Middle School football field as a landing area for the helicopter.
Patch has called police and fire for information. Neither returned calls immediately.

Helicopter has cleared Middle School. Bulgarmarsh Road remains closed due to vehicle removal and accident investigation.
