Severe Thunderstorm Warning In Tiverton, Little Compton

The National Weather Service is warning of severe thunderstorms in the area throughout the day with frequent lightning, potentially damaging winds and even hail possible. The service has issued a severe weather alert for Tiverton and Little Compton.

Storms have already begun to hit the southern part of Rhode Island this morning and are possible in town throughout the day, sometimes bringing heavy downpours along with the thunder and lightning.
