State Police Investigating Tiverton's Maintenance Director

State Police are investigating a complaint about Tiverton's maintenance director Robert Martin.

Tiverton's Maintenance Director Robert "Bob" Martin is currently the subject of a State Police investigation, the Tiverton Town Council learned Monday night, reports WJAR-TV Channel 10. 

Martin is being accused of working on his personal property while on town time, according to WJAR-TV Channel 10. Martin has denied this accusation.

The Tiverton council discussed an investigation about a town employee during its executive session Monday night, reports EastBayRI.com

Martin, a Tiverton native and town employee since 1988, owns several apartment buildings in the town of Tiverton.

In 2012, he donated a concession stand to the Tiverton Little League. He has also managed and directed work at the Bulgarmarsh Skate Park.
