Tiverton Fire Department Seeking New Fire Chief

TIVERTON, R.I. -- The Tiverton Fire Department is seeking applicants for a new fire chief.

Minumum requirements for the position are:

• Associate's Degree in fire science, public administration, or a similar field
• 10 years experience with "progressively greater responsibility in fire department management, firefighting, fire prevention and emergency medical services"
• Five years experience in a command position
• Two years administrative experience

The salary range for the position is $75,000 to $85,000.
