Tiverton Police To Bring Back 'Good Driver' Tickets
Police pulled drivers over to give them a gift card if the officer noticed they were following the rules of the road.
TIVERTON, RI — Tiverton Police earlier this year "ticketed" good drivers with gift cards for following the rules of the road. The experiment was a popular success. Now the local police want to roll out the gift cards again, possibly starting the day after Thanksgiving. The cards will serve as early holiday presents, the department said in a Facebook post.
