Tiverton Police To Give Away Gift Cards On Valentine's Day

TIVERTON, R.I. -- Love is in the air, and the Tiverton Police Department is hoping to help this Valentine's Day.

"We want to help make sure you don’t get in trouble with your sweetheart this year," the post read. "We will be giving away gift cards and not just any gift cards. We have a $150 gift card for Twin River Casino Hotel Tiverton at Trattoria Romana, a gift card for a beginner ski or snow board lesson at Gunstock Mountain Resort and a 7PM reservation at Sakonnet River Grille on Valentine’s Day to include a $100 dinner credit for what we are told is a very romantic table setting!"

According to a post on the department's Facebook page, officers will be giving out gift cards attached to boxes of chocolate throughout the day on Wednesday.
