Tiverton Police Looking For 'Santa For Seniors' Donations

The department patterned with the senior center to assemble and distribute gift baskets to brighten up the holiday season.

TIVERTON, RI — The Tiverton Police Department is looking for the public's assistance in making the holiday season a little more special for seniors in the community. The department teamed up with the town's senior center to assemble and distribute gift baskets.

Members of the community are asked to donate items for the gift baskets, which will be handed out on Dec. 18 and 19. Donations can be dropped off at the police station or the senior center. Items will also be accepted at the annual stuff-a-cruiser event at Tom's Market on Dec. 12 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
