Tiverton School Committee Announces District Teacher of the Year
Beth Kilborn, reading specialist at Fort Barton Elementary School, is Tiverton's 2017 teacher of the year.

TIVERTON, RI — The Tiverton School Department is proud to announce our District Teacher of the Year as Ms. Beth Kilborn. This week, the Tiverton School Committee convened & formally announced this recognition. Ms. Kilborn holds a masters degree in literacy, leads many district and school initiatives, has taught in our district for almost two decades, and currently serves in the role of Reading Specialist at Fort Barton Elementary School. She will be honored at a special WaterFire event in Providence on Saturday, September 23rd. Congratulations Mrs. Kilborn for this prestigious award.
