Tiverton Woman's Wheelchair Found At Gillette Stadium

Fears the wheelchair had been stolen changed to relief when the operations manager realized he moved it into a first aid room.

TIVERTON, RI—A Tiverton woman thought her wheelchair had been stolen at Gillette Stadium when it disappeared from the spot where she usually stashed it during the game. Security guards looked and also couldn't find it. Cindy Morais has cerebral palsy and losing the wheelchair was a blow. Her friend Samantha Medeiros, a Portsmouth Middle School teacher, posted the news on Facebook and asked everyone to share.

The story was reported on local television news, and none other than Pats owner Robert Kraft offered to give Morais a new wheelchair. But later Medeiros posted an update to say the operations manager at Gillette had moved the wheelchair to a first aid room for safekeeping.
