Twin River Casino Guests Can Ditch Masks If Fully Vaccinated

LINCOLN, RI — Twin River Casinos announced it relaxed some coronavirus restrictions Friday, including around mask-wearing.

A casino spokesperson told WJAR News masks are longer required for fully vaccinated guests at Twin River's Lincoln and Tiverton locations. Masks are now only required for non-fully vaccinated guests and employees. The mask rule is based on the honor system, the spokesperson said.

Plexiglass will also be removed from the gaming floors, but the barriers separating card dealers and guest will remain. Bars and restaurants at Twin River opened at 100 percent capacity, and temperature checks and ID scanning are no longer required.
