Weekend Agenda: Four Corners Art Festival, Belly Dancing and More

Pack your weekend full of fun with these events across Tiverton and Little Compton.

Learn about culture, food and community in Tiverton and Little Compton this weekend with a sampling of the many events these close-knit communities have to offer.

1. Don't miss out on the 26th Annual Tiverton Four Corners Arts and Artisan Festival at the Mill Pond shops on Saturday, July 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Peruse wares being sold by more than 70 local and regional artists while listening to the soothing tunes of artisan music by from Gary Fish and Friends. Bite into the local flavor Tiverton and Little Compton with lunch from Acacia Cafe - the star of Little Compton's gourmet food truck scene and sip on locally roasted beans by Coastal Roasters. See you there!

2. Belly Dancing at the Tiverton Four Corners Arts Festival is sure to excite your senses on Saturday. The talented and colorful dancing troupe from Tiverton's Dancing Spirit Studio will perform beside the white music tent at the festival at Mill Pond from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, July 20.

3. The Rhode Island Watercolor Society visits Tiverton this Saturday, July 20 beginning at 10 a.m. The Pawtucket-based artists collaborative will display prints at the Tiverton Four Corners Visiting Artist Gallery through Saturday, Aug. 3. Gallery hours are Friday through Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

4. Enjoy an evening of music and dancing at Sandywoods Farm on Saturday, July 20 with Village Harmony. Full of music and laughter, this concert features 25 talented and energetic teen singers guided by three adult leaders and promises to be a high-energy musical adventure. 
The show begins at 7:30 p.m. and patrons are encouraged to bring a picnic basket dinner - BYOB is also allowed.
Tickets cost $10 for adults adults and $5 for children and seniors.

5. The grounds of Tiverton's Meeting House come alive with art this Sunday, July 21 with the 20th Annual Outdoor Sculpture Park. The exhibit, "Gestures 
of That Other Life" will remain through October. The park is open during daylight hours until October. The exhibit's opening reception is July 21st from 1 - 3 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
