WEST GREENWICH, RI — The Zoning Board of Review will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, June 9 to consider a petition by Robin Hollow Solar, LLC for a 40-megawatt ground-mounted solar project with storage.

The developers seek a special use permit for a Major Solar Energy System under the town's zoning ordinance and table of uses.

The project would be built off Rt. 95 between Robin Hollow Road and Brant Trail. The area is zoned RFR2 for rural farming residential.

The meeting will be held at Town Council Chambers at 280 Victory Highway on June 9 at 7 p.m.

A public hearing on the matter was closed on April 28. The upcoming meeting is a continuance from the May 18 regular meeting, according to a posted agenda.
