A.C. Flora, Airport Head to Game 2 in State Title Series

Update: This game has been postponed until Monday at 7 p.m. at Airport High School.

Original story: A.C. Flora and Airport high schools will battle it out in the second game of the best-of-three series for the Class 3A state championship Saturday.

The defending state champions defeated the Eagles 10-9 Thursday night after 13 innings. 

The Falcons (25-6) entered the bottom of the sixth inning, 9-1, but was able to come back with four runs in the sixth and four in the seventh, forcing extra innings, according to a report from The State.

The game starts at 7 p.m. at Airport High, 1315 Boston Avenue, West Columbia.
