After New Hampshire: Trump Takedowns, Bernie Basketball and More

Plus: Rubio's robot ruse, Popovich's priceless ponderings and more.

The New Hampshire primary ended essentially the second polls closed, with several news outlets immediately declaring Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and Noted Shouter Donald Trump the winners.

It was touted as a win for party outsiders.

Bernie balls so hard

Bernie Sanders was called the winner literally one minute after polls closed, so he had some time to kill while was waiting to make his victory speech at Concord High School.

So he worked on his jump shot, which looked pretty polished, in the adjacent gym.

“How is he making every single one?” Megyn Kelly asked.

Rubio realizes his robot ruse

And the New York Daily News erred, as always, on the side of subtly with its front page Wednesday, which you can see above.

Gregg Popovich was not impressed

After the San Antonio Spurs’ 119-101 win over the Miami Heat, Spurs coach Gregg Popovich asked TNT sideline reporter Greg Aldridge who had won the primaries.

“Sanders and Trump,” Aldridge told him.

Popovich thought for a moment, then shook his head in a reaction that spoke for a lot of Americans:
