Imagine hearing Mozart for the very first time. The American Chamber Players will have a fun, interactive musical session with 60 elementary students, giving most of them their first introduction to the beauty of classical music.

Members of the American Chamber Players will play their instruments, talk about classical music and answer questions from students from Carver-Lyon, John P. Thomas, Hyatt Park, Forest Heights, Sandel and Watkins-Nance elementary schools. This introductory session will be recorded for webcast/podcast on the SCETV website and will be available for streaming to every South Carolina public, private and home school.

After their session with students, the ensemble will perform a concert, which will be recorded for broadcast on SCETV Radio, South Carolina’s statewide public radio network. The 70-minute program of classical music will be broadcast in South Carolina and portions of Georgia and North Carolina on Carolina Live, which airs weekly on the radio during prime time.
