Columbia Police Department (CPD) investigators with the Special Victims Unit (SVU) are releasing surveillance pictures of a male criminal sexual conduct suspect.

The man is accused of breaking into the victim’s home at the 2000 block of Greene Street shortly after 4:00 a.m. today and sexually assaulting her.
The victim received medical attention after the incident.

The suspect is reported as being a black male, possibly between the ages of 30-40 years old, approximately 5’7 to 6 feet tall with short hair, a medium build wearing a dark (possibly blue) colored T-shirt and dark pants.
