The Columbia Police Department (CPD) Property Crimes Unit have several outstanding arrest warrants for a man accused of breaking into vehicles and stealing valuables, including debit cards.

56-year-old David Lee Rice, Junior is wanted on Five Counts of Financial Credit Card Theft, Nine Counts of Financial Credit Card Fraud, Larceny and Auto-Breaking. Once located and arrested, he will be taken to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center (ASGDC).
In April and earlier this month, Rice is accused of breaking into cars and stealing wallets, purses, cash and debit/credit cards. Rice is further accused of fraudulently using the debit/credit cards and purchasing multiple items at various stores in South Columbia to include Devine Street and Garners Ferry Road.

Rice was last seen driving a silver 2018 Nissan Altima.
Several law enforcement partner agencies also have outstanding warrants for Rice’s arrest.
Rice has previous convictions for similar crimes.
