Clyburn Supports Yellen to Lead Fed: "To Make History Up Here"

Clyburn says Yellen would break a very important glass ceiling.

Appearing on "The Daily Rundown With Chuck Todd," Rep. James Clyburn (D-2) touched on a number of topics but notably offered his public support to Janet Yellen as the first female head of the Federal Reserve.

President Obama is believed to be considering Yellen or former Harvard President Larry Summers to replace Ben Bernanke next year.

Clyburn also discussed possible remedies to the Supreme Court's decision to overturn portions of the Voting Rights Act.
