
A 25-year-old Columbia man was arrested Wednesday and charged with two counts of child pornography.
Reanado Cortez Rose was arrested following an investigation by the Richland County Sheriff's Department, a member of the Internet Crime Against Children Task Force, according to a release from S.C. Attorney General Alan Wilson.
According to the release, an investigator from the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office, another ICAC task force member, found images "depicting children engaged in sexual activity" and found it originated in Richland County. An executed search warrant discovered child pornography on Rose's laptop, according to the release.

He is charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, second-degree, which is a felony punishable by between 2 and 10 years on each count.
The case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General's Office.
