Ex-Panthers President Danny Morrison To Teach At University Of South Carolina

Morrison served as a Panthers executive for nearly nine years. He said he left the NFL team to return to a role on campus.

COLUMBIA, SC — Former Carolina Panthers president — and onetime athletic director at Wofford and TCU — Danny Morrison will teach at the University of South Carolina beginning next month.

The school announced this week Morrison's addition to the College of Hospitality, Retail and Sports Management. He begins as a faculty member Aug. 16.

Between stints at Wofford and TCU, Morrison was commissioner of the Southern Conference. He served as a Panthers executive for nearly nine years until resigning last February. Morrison said at the time that he left the NFL team to get back into a role on campus.
