Lindsey Graham on Egypt: Near 'All-Out Bledshed'

Graham and McCain appear to have seen their overtures rebuffed.

On a diplomatic mission with fellow Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), Sen. Lindsey Graham told CBS News that the country is on the brink of all-out war (see accompanying video)

Since the removal of President Mohammed Morsi last month, the country has been in a state of flux. Graham and McCain were in the country to call for stability on behalf of the United States.

But those calls appear to have been rebuffed. The new Egyptian leadership has jailed aides to the former president and the interim President Adly Mansour said Graham and McCain were making an "unacceptable interference in internal politics."
