Preview: USC Faces Michigan in Outback Bowl

Gamecocks will have to contain the Wolverines' QB to get an 11th win.

When runningback Marcus Lattimore was lost for the season to a knee injury, and quarterback Connor Shaw was knocked out of several games, many wondered how the South Carolina offense would score.

But as the Gamecocks head into Tuesday's Outback Bowl against Michigan, runningback Bruce Ellington and wide receiver Ace Sanders have stepped up to keep South Carolina (10-2) on track. And Dylan Thompson's play have calmed concerns at quarterback.

If the South Carolina defense (led by Jadeveon Clowney) is able to keep Michigan's QBs in check — Denard Robinson and Devin Gardner — ESPN's experts believe South Carolina will finish the season with back-to-back 11-win seasons for the first time in history. Here is the full preview from ESPN.
