Report: Columbia Church Ticketed 16 Times for Noise
Neighbors continue to complain about Rehobeth United Assemblies on Laurel Street in downtown.
A Columbia church has racked up more than 16 tickets for noise violations in the past year, and the tension between church members and Laurel Street neighbors doesn't seem to be easing.
Neighbors have called police 20 times since the fall about Rehobeth United Assemblies, and 16 have resulted in tickets on six different days of the week and from mid-morning to late-evening, according to a report in The State.
What do you think? Should neighbors be complaining? Should the church members change the way they worship?
