Report: Off-Duty Columbia Officer Charged With DUI
Michael Watson was found asleep at a stop light on Garners Ferry Road.
A 34-year-old off-duty Columbia Police officer was charged with DUI by the S.C. Highway Patrol after being found asleep at a Garners Ferry Road stoplight, according to The State.
Michael Watson was found in his personal vehicle around 2 a.m.
Columbia Police spokeswoman Jennifer Timmons said he has been suspended without pay.
