SC GOP Congressional Delegation Calls For Protection of Med Supplies
Doubts expressed about company providing supplies.

Seven members of South Carolina's Congressional Delegation penned a letter to the organization responsible for bidding on durable medical equipment for seniors.
The congressmen allege that the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Service (CMS) "falls short" in several areas and called for a halt to the program in order to reform the process to better reflect its original intent. If left unchecked, they said, the current bidding program could make it significantly harder for seniors to easily and affordably obtain necessary medical equipment..
CMS bids on durable medical equipment, prosthetics and orthotics which are intended to reduce Medicare expenses.Â
