The Circus Arrives: See Photos of Annual Elephant Walk

Despite less-than-ideal conditions, dozens came out to downtown Columbia for the annual tradition.

Today, the circus came to town.

And following the annual Columbia tradition (as well as that in cities across the country), the arrival of the Ringling Brothers Circus means one thing: Elephant Walk.

This morning, the trains stopped near the University of South Carolina Greek Village and the elephants were unloaded.
